Among the stated goals of the Ruston Farmers' Market is to provide a direct-sales venue for Louisiana farmers, growers, and producers of local value-added products. We want to create a profitable market for our vendors that also provides high quality, fresh, and healthy food to our customers. In the service of this goal, any vendor wishing to participate in the Ruston Farmers' Market must read the rules and regulations as have been determined by our Executive Committee, in accordance with state laws and local ordinances, and in conference with our vendors and customers. It is also recommended that vendors review the appropriate sections of the Food Handling Guide referenced on the side bar. Prior to participation in the market vendors must submit a completed application to the Market Coordinator, Karen Pittman. Any questions concerning participation eligibility, the application process, or any of the rules should be directed to:
